He is by far our best guard and probably our best talent. This has been painfully obvious to everyone who knows anything about talent.

The question for JB is who is best to play with Dion - Scoop or Triche? I think I would give Scoop the first opportunity. Lets see how they play together with super 6th man Triche coming off the bench.

This summer some of you were wondering whether Dion should transfer...painful.

I agree. The kid is a huge talent. He played well with Triche tonight, they both seemed more than willing to look for each other while always on the attack--which is actually a great sign with BT, let's hope they both keep it up.

I think Dion has an absolutely a great chance at getting the 6th man award if he keeps playing like he has ... Wow!!

I dont think many people questioned his ability. It was his ass attitude that I wanted to see improve.

As I recall, Dion was simply fat and out of shape last year. He is the only explosive athlete on this team aside from Xmas. Getting in shape and losing the weight has obviously helped him elevate his game however I dont think we can make much of anything due to the horrid level of compeition. I seriously think St. Rose was better than the last two teams we've played .

...waiters as 6th man...nope...Waiters as SG with Triche as PG...that is way to go

Dion has been fabulous on both ends thus far. Not sure how JB can keep him off the floor.

I'm not too worried about who starts the game. I care more about who finishes it.

We do have to worry about slow starts, though, like the second half tonight. What was it, 7 minutes until they made a FG? Against a good team, we'll give up too many points to permit us to not score for minutes at a time.

I noticed that early in the game, Triche was paired with Fair, and Brandon went on a tear. I''m happy for him to play well - that makes us a better team. Next, Scoop has to step it up a bit.

Good point. I think the way things seem to be shaking out right now, everyone knows their role and is happy with it. I'm hoping the slow starts will work themselves out. If not, then I'll jump on the "make Dion a starter" boat.

Fabulous on offense, maybe.

Boeheim was calm tonight, but he made sure to let Dion know about all those threes that he gave up. Dion has lapses in the zone that resemble the youth league soccer games where 22 kids are crowded around the ball - he gets sucked into the action and suddenly finds himself 20 feet out of position while an open shooter is getting a clean look.

This team will be prone to slow starts, which is a concern, but tonight was rather extraordinary - rare will be the time when an opposing team intentionally fouls every time down the court (and racks up ten whistles in the first 5:39). Our offense looked decent in that stretch, but the shots we got didn't fall.
