I haven't been this pumped up for a hoop game since the Marquette game last year. Also, haven't been this jazzed up for a game that I have attended in person since the Big East Semi against UCONN. (hopefully the outcome turns out a bit differently than in those two...)
LGO !

On the morning commute into Penn Station I counted 5 SU hats and an SU laptop bag belonging to the guy seated next to me. What a way to brighten an otherwise rainy, damp morning. Cannot wait for tonight!

Great game to see if person! Go Orange.

I'm with you Eric. Its been a loooong 5 or 6 days and if ever we needed a diversion from all of the nonsense going on around the program, the time is now. I'm excited to see the team play against some decent competition.

Most particularly, I'm interested to see if we keep up with the 10 deep rotation or if Boeheim starts to shorten it already with the better competition. My inkling is that Boeheim really does feel we have 10 players who can play and I think he'll keep the players coming off the bench in waves as he has the first couple of games.

Looking forward to getting back to the Garden tonight.

So according to the Rutgers Rule...that meant you would've seen 20 RU hats and 5 Laptop bags this am.

Looking forward to checking out the slowly improving MSG tonight.

If Cuse comes out and plays how we think they are going to, I imagine MSG will be rocking so hard it could crumble. The pent up emotion that will be let out tonight if our team comes out guns blazing is going to be electric.

Grand Central had a handful of Syracuse hats/sweatshirts, probably 6 or so.

this is the bball side -- no need for ru obsession here.

Guys, normally I wouldn't post this, but I feel like it's credible and pertinent here, so I will. First of all nycfan is NOT a troll. I have been hearing the same thing from people that I trust who are VERY close to the basketball program. These sources didn't want to go into specific details, but their story is very much along the lines of what nyc says above. I should add that they have never steered me wrong in the past on these types of things. All that we are hearing is pointing in only one direction: we do in fact have a game tonight. And it is not looking good at all for VT.

WOOO HOOO!!! Go Orange!!

Amen to this post, not enough chatter about an actual game, against a team from a major conference no less. I had to skip tonight's game in person unfortunately, but I will be at MSG on Friday if I can still fit my fat a$$ in a seat following Thanksgiving.
