Its going to come down to 4 teams

Ugh, I dont want to contradict myself about rooting for the enemy of my enemy, but I'm not looking forward to rooting for NC. Is it a sure thing that a win by them would help our RPI?

:( Is that because we lost twice to UNC and only lost once to Virginia? I may be one of a minority who dislikes UNC more than UConn.

I can't find one reason why Monmouth would be in. They only have two top 100 wins and 3 sub 200 losses. There's absolutely no chance they get in.

Their bench is a clown show. Great for TV.

Down to my last crunch! 7 teams for 2 spots: Syracuse, Tulsa, Valpo, Monmouth, Wich St, Vandy, St. Mary's. SDSU is wild card.

This tool box has Michigan and UConn in. If we are competing with these teams I really like our chances.

I would LOVE our chances if it comes down to picking 2 out of the above 7. I think cuse and witchita st would be dancing.

Assuming there are no more bid stealers these four teams are going to be battling for probably one spot Syracuse Monmiuth St marys Vanderbilt One of these four teams are getting in. We have to just hope it is us.

Edit. You may include valpo into this discussion but i dont think they are ahead of any of these teams

I think you are selling us short because of the Temple "auto-bid factor".

It's actually going to be 2 teamw for 4 spots if Temple loses today. Temple is still the placeholder as AAC champion - they will fall out of that spot and not be a contender for the at-large. That creates an additional spot.

I also think you need to add Michigan (if they lose today) and Oregon St (Fake P12 resume). I think it comes down to 4 spots for 6 teams. if Temple loses today and no bid stealers.

When Temple loses today everything is going to look more positive. It's amazing how many media are just totally overlooking this. Temple is actually the opposite of a bid stealer right now. They are sitting in the bracket today, but if they lose one full spot opens.

I'd love our chances in Dayton too. The only teams on the bubble with us I'd be iffy about playing is Vanderbilt and MAYBE Michigan (no LeVert though)

Temple and Michigan Lose Today (and no Bid Stealers).

5 spots for 7 teams
St Mary's
Monmouth
Michigan
Syracuse
Vanderbilt
Oregon St
St. Bonaventure

Edited to 5 for 7 (I added St. Bonaventure to the above list)

"When" Temple loses. You have some inside info?

I can't root for UConn today. I just want the Temple-UConn winner to win tomorrow against the Memphis-Tulane winner as well I want the St. Joe's-Dayton winner to beat the winner of Davidson-VCU.

If UConn wins today, and takes care of things tomorrow. you are guaranteeing the AAC is a 2 team league (UConn &Cincy)

If Temple wins you are taking a big chance that the AAC is a 3 team league. (Cincy, AAC Champ, and probably UConn)

The choice is clear in my view. I would like to observe them win -- it won't be cheering.

Lunardi and Palm both have Temple in and they're not even last four in.

I can pretty much guarantee you Temple will be adjusted out after they lose today (maybe not Lunardi, as he's a shameless Philly shill)

Is that because Temple is in as the AQ right now, so therefore isn't considered part of the at large discussion and can't be last 4 in?

Lunardi has them as a 10, not sure if he'd drop them out of his field wiht a loss

Seth Davis on Twitter: My last 5 in: St. Bonaventure, Mich, UConn, Syracuse, Wich St. First 5 out: Valpo, Monmouth, Vandy, Tulsa, St. Mary's.

Almost everyone has us one of the first out. None of those projections take in consideration JB's 9 game suspension. If the committee takes it into consideration at all, like they said they would, they would have to at least give us one extra win in that 4-5 record in JB's absence. Considering that, we would almoct have to be in. That is of course if the NCAA selection committee keeps their word. In reality, this is just another chance for the NCAA to stick it too JB and SU.

What has Wichita St done, other than beat Utah?
