Carlos undeniably played better on offense today. But he got repeatedly torched on D. I think we have a good idea of what Carlos' floor and ceiling are now.

Meanwhile, in his 4 minutes of PT Cuffe had a 1 rebound, dropped a beautiful assist to Lampkin and while 0-1 shooting, his one miss was an impressively athletic drive to the basket that was a bit unlucky not to drop. I want to see Cuffe get play without being on the Paul Harris retractable leash.

Flame me all you want but I haven't seen anything to justify Carlos getting Buddy minutes.

I don't. Cuffe stinks too.

I can't imagine he's bad enough to justify Carlos getting 40 mpg. That just doesn't make sense to me. Maybe it's true, but I want to see for myself. What's the worst thing that could happen, losing to a bad Georgetown team at home?

I’ll say it— Cuffe isn’t good enough either.
But would rather have someone who can defend a little bit on the floor ,then someone who can't stay in front of anyone.
Carlos defends like he's in the running of the bulls, he run a away.

JC isn’t good enough for this level. He’ll have moments, but he’s a real problem. And it’s not like we’re 8-2.

We’re 5-5 heading into the game with Maryland, who has a NET of 13.

How JC can play a whole game is baffling. But Chris Bell has started 72 games in a row, so the coaches are going to do what they do.

Wanting to see Cuffe at PG is hilarious, why don’t you go watch the slippery rock game

You're right it would be stupid to mess with this winning formula!

I feel like I've been watching Slippery Rock.

Yeah, I am 100% certain that Cuffe cannot play PG. That being said, I want lineup option that don't involve having Carlos out there for 37+ minutes. He's had a couple okay'ish stretches recently, but not enough to matter.

I'm also at the point where I just want so see some creativity. Let's roll out some stupid gimmicks - press lineup, zone lineup...figure it out. lol

Cuffe is a power forward in a soccer players body

Carlos does not belong at this level of basketball. Finally seeing him in person yesterday it’s unreal how unathletic he is at the guard spot. Does not have the speed or athleticism to compete at this level. Tyler Ennis wasn’t an elite athlete (just a great point guard) but Carlos makes him look like an olympian.

He’s played better offensively recently, but Carlos looks like a very good walk-on. He simply cannot defend at this level, especially without the threat of any kind of shot blocker behind him. The defensive combination of Carlos and Lampkin at PG and center makes us so vulnerable every single possession, without anyone else resembling a plus defender. A long way from the days of bottling up Indiana in the tournament.

They both aren't P4 starters. It's debatable if they should even be on a roster.

How the heck did Carlos win defensive player of the Year in his conference
Announcers also said he scored over 90 points in consecutive HS games, that's over 90, each time. Impressive for a guy with no jump shot

And yet he had 15 points, while the athletic Taylor had 2.

He would be a turnover machine with the ball in his hands constantly. He’s a tweener. He’s too short to play the two, he doesn’t have the handling skills to play the one, that’s why he plays the amount he does.
