But he played 13 players so that's actually a win. Sorry, couldn't resist. In all seriousness, I just think college hoops is much more flat than it's ever been. Rutgers knocked off Ilinois as well -- obvoiusly not a major upset but just to point out that we *could* have beaten rutgers, who will probably move into the top 15, and lost to northeastern or bryant or buffalo (or all three). Just not sure, at least early in the season, that the big dogs are all that scary anymore (for a variety of reasons).
Finally someone making sense. All about the DEVELOPMENT. It’s imperative that your 11th best player DEVELOPS and you do that by putting him in the game MORE than his play warrants.
(they’re not - watched em sh__ the bed vs Pitt last week)Northwestern must be GOOD.

So was I. You think I’d watch Pitt play at Francis!!!I was joking.
Collins has had some rough seasons recently. We’ll see how it plays out. But to the Hop hater from Washington, it goes to show you can’t give up on coaches if they struggle for a season or two.Northwestern has really turned their football and basketball programs around.
Someone there knows how to pick successful coaches.
