In a time when I'm concerned about getting to the scholarship number (I'm guessing Fran isn't), it seems weird to me that now is the time to put Oh on scholarship. I'll take that as an indication that we'll be fine in terms of numbers.

The judge already stated that no one is going to lose their roster spot or she won't approve the deal.
So for this year anyone on the roster stays there.

Nice for Jayden but Syracuse needs to be able to make a FG and so far I have no confidence in the kickers on the roster. I would hope he takes a step forward after a year on the roster but generally our good kickers have been good from day one.

I'll take Venatieri's kid if he's available. Probably gets auctioned to whatever SEC coach is doubting his special teams the most.

Things have been weird with ST under Fran and it continues into Fran's second year. The Iowa kid has no credentials, not sure what the excitement is about. Oh was not good last year, and now they burn a scholarship on him? Kennedy was the best of a weak bunch, but they waited to use him in games until last. They dumped the worst ST coach we've ever seen here, and replaced him a guy who had bad STs at GaTech last year. Again, I don't see what the excitement is about with that hire.

There should have been multiple better kickers competing on the roster by now, but there are not. Brumfield was supposed to be a great recruiter - well, where is the stud FG kicker recruit?

I'm really thinking that ST is a blind spot for Fran. If it's not straightened out, SU will lose a game or more due to lack of FG scoring.
