Waters has a good idea. Give Tyus the reins next year as the full-time point guard. It will show the NBA how versatile he is, played the 2 well for 3 years and then the point for 1. He's great at the point. I hope JB makes that offer to Tyus.

Is this directed at the fans or the players or the coaches? The only one who doesn’t want Carey to be a freshman wait his turn is Carey. I’m normally a big give the guys minutes to develop but this team doesn’t have the margin of error to let Carey learn on the job. I hope Carey spends a lot of time this summer improving his game and is ready to take over the point next year.

He was leaving last year and the scouts told him to improve. He hasn’t really done much to increase his stock. What is he going to do as a senior to lift it? Score 30 a game. There is no point and wasting another year not getting paid.

They will end up getting a grad transfer to replace him if he does leave but we've seen how that works out. Roster management has been absolutely horrific for years. Only so much blame can be placed on the sanctions. We either haven't recruited well or developed well or both. That's on the coaches.
