Jim Mora is awesome, tells Doug "Is this your first interview?"

Honestly, it blows my mind that anyone could listen to that and conclude that Doug asked anything that was inappropriate. Mora overreacted to getting questions that were tougher than he expected...but he needs to suck it up. I think Doug's act on TV is to be a grade a douchenozzle, and I want to reach through the TV and strangle him when he gives a little sigh before he starts talking - but this clip is just not a good example of "bad Douggie".

I think Gottlieb’s problem is that he just comes off as so god dam smug and arrogant. He has his opinion and then thinks everyone else is stupid who doesn’t agree with him but he’s abrasive about it. That's annoying and why I can't stand him.

Things will get fun when he’s got Bilas in that studio with him.

Pretty accurate description of him. He has knowledge, but not to the level he believes. Jay Williams can't get the words out (which is somewhat important in his role), but he also has knowledge. When he does ESPN Radio, he is far better.

I wish they'd pair Doug with Bilas and Knight. If he kept up the schtick, he'd get his P90x ass whooped good.

I know it's an unpopular opinion here, but I don't think Bilas is that much better than DG.

Of course unlike most of the posters here I don't base an analysts worth on how many nice things they say about Syracuse per hr

I would guess that Mora took offense to the reference about him still being the coach of the Falcons if Vick had bought into his system. Some people get touchy about getting fired from a job. The interview basically turned sour on that question.

That's awesome, but not really germane to the point...unless you met Gottlieb in person too.

Especially after the unfortunate scandals, and JB's handling of them, that IS the perception that a lot of the country has...whether or not you or I agree.
