JB did a Center Stage on Yes

And in a creative act of scheduling, YES is showing it while the SU/FSU football game is on. Football game starts at 3:30: Center Stage is on at 6:30. Nice way to build audience YES.

True, but aren't they showing it immediately after the basketball game, which they are airing?

Yes. They are locked into the basketball game. But they could have shown Center Stage at some other time.

Oh, I agree. I won't be watching the first airing as I'll be partaking in watching a giant upset on the gridiron.

But I can see why they scheduled it the way they did as they can tease it at every commercial break of the SU game.

Sorry I don't that much time on this side.
I don't either this time of year, just happened to see it discussed in the thread about hoping they moved the basketball game time to not conflict with football.

I'm just always late to the party and never get to use that line, so i took the opportunity as lame as it was.:p

My Time Warner from Rochester says Jim Brown also.

I was at the taping and did a write-up for the board.

It was a great segment. Definitely worth tuning in.

Great show. Watching it I was thinking how great it would have been to be there in that small intimate audience for that interview.

Awesome interview by Kay.

That said I really hope JB writes a book some day, would love to hear the stories that man has. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

He just said he was working on one on the show. It's coming out next fall. It's going to be part retrospective, and part on the transition to the ACC this year.

He seemed relaxed and self-effacing. Made a poignant comment about his 9th grade adviser telling him not everyone was going to like him. (That would have killed me!) And when asked who he want in a fox hole with him, he said... I guess you'll just have to watch it yourself!

I missed the very beginning but found it odd that he didn't mention Hop at all.

Great interview. JB was relaxed and I thought very candid. Smiled a lot and had some funny lines. We should enjoy him while we can. He'll be missed on more than one level when he decides to hang it up.

Well, I think JB is going to stay around longer than Hop may be patient.
