JB discusses moving court vs Duke

I think they should do it for JB's last game. That would be the only occasion worth it in my opinion

I believe he has already vehemently shot down this idea as well.

The court will be moved to the center for the East Regional games in two years, might as well do it for an SU game first.

Is that 100%? They didnt move it the last time the Regionals came to town

The seats would be so far away from the court nobody will be able to see anything. Not for it either.

This brings up the argument of whether JB's legacy and coaching has grown bigger than the program and school itself.

That's a recent development with the NCAA - they've done it with every regional dome game in the past 3-4 years.

The NCAA is using these risers on top of the regular seating to put the courts in the middle.

Ahh, roger that. I prolly should have picked up on that trend lol

Everytime SU has held a Regionals, the back side of the Dome was used as an overflow press room (because the media room at the Dome isn't big enough to accomodate everyone).

Unless SU has quadrupled the size of the press area in the bowels of the Dome, they'll need this overflow space again.

I'd say JB is entitled to express his opinion on this issue.

Well of course, but has his word become law?
I don't believe it has. And FWIW, I also don't believe his "legacy and coaching has grown bigger than the program and school itself."
