JB discusses moving court vs Duke

No, but if he said he didn't want it when he retired, I don't believe anyone would try and shove it down his throat.
Well yes, however I'm talking about this Duke game.

So we can all sit here and give our opinion on this, and b!tch and complain about it, but the head coach cant give his opinion?

All I'm asking is if Boeheim's word is law. Is Boeheim a big enough deal now at Syracuse University that they throw out these readjustment plans because he disagrees with it?

Never said he was wrong or right. Never said he wasn't entitled to his opinion.

People on here are mighty defensive when it comes to JB.

I'm just not tracking where the whole "is JBs word law" deal is coming from... He's the Head Coach.. If he doesnt want the court at mid field, I think SU should at least listen... That doesnt make him "bigger then the program" tho... I dont know for a fact, but I'm sure JB would have rather played some of those MSG games in the dome, but we still played in MSG.

I'm not trying to sya anything negative about this.

We all know how big Jim Boeheim is to, not only the basketball ball team or university, but the city of Syracuse as well. I'm just asking if his importance, well deserved and gained through 30+ years of great coaching, is enough to shut down a proposal like this.

It seems like a silly idea to me. I never believed in any of the "dome setting impacts shooting in the tournament" BS, but it does seem like an extra adjustment to have to make when the opposing team will already make things challenging enough.

Not to mention the things like keeping the season ticket holders happy and the logistical stuff. I also think that when you're working in a bigger space, the Dome won't get as loud because it's not "confined" to one part of the building like it is during normal home games.

Paterno's firing even though it absolutely had to be done showed that no coach is above a school or program.
