Good for coach. Sometimes I wonder if these kids were ever coached in HS. Their basic fundamentals are really bad. Most of these kids turnovers are because they never look at the basket. It doesn't mean you have to shoot, but you have to look at the basket or teams will just play your pass. This is part of KJ's biggest problem. All of our young players, including Silent G, are having trouble making simple passes because they aren't looking at the basket. Just bring the ball to your face and you open up passing lanes. Keep the ball low, and the defensive player is going to keep his hands down to tip or knock away your pass. Louisville, Duke, or any pressure team is going to give this team fits. You tell kids in elementary school to catch the ball with TWO HANDS. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I'd be ticked off if I was coach too. We'll know in one week if they are coachable or a bunch of knuckleheads!
