Everyone says Durant’s jumper is unblockable. Jerami blocked a turnaround Durant jumper last night, and had great contesting defense on Durant’s shot at the buzzer. Durant missed, but there was a putback at the buzzer.

One thing that really impressed me with Grant in last nights game specifically (since I was able to catch one of his games full length) is how good his handle is atleast in comparisons to his days in Orange and early NBA years. he was playing up top in their zone down the strength last night. We always knew Jerami was a athletic freak and Tweener but I didn’t know the tweener bit meant 2g, swingman.

Grant followed the 44 point performance with 29 today.

Lost in last night’s debacle debacle against Illinois was another fine performance by Jerami. He had 32 points in the loss, fouling out with about 4 minutes left in the game.

A quarter of the way through the season, he is averaging damn near 50% from three point range in over 6 attempts per game.

Great scoring numbers - surprised he’s not a little better rebounder. Guess he’s become much more of a perimeter player over time. Happy for Jerami.
