Jeremiah Wilson

I imagine he is gone for good this time come offseason.

And I don't want to hear crap.about posting about what players may or may not leave right now.

It's clear there is going to be exodus and turnover this offseason

I can't imagine a kid like LQA sticking around. He's not perfect, needs to be a little more north south, misses a path outside sometimes where there's a blocker. He's not the most explosive.

But most runs, he's just running straight into a wall and trying to gut out a few more yards. Why stick around for that?

What aren't they telling us? He played like an All American against Purdue. Suddenly he's Neil Nunn.

Dino wouldn't even really answer it when asked in the postgame. Just said "they had some guys ranked higher". Making it sound like it was the decision of the defensive staff.

I didn't see him on the field or on the sideline when the camera panned the bench.

Adams was also seemingly missing. Unless I missed it, he did not return either punt (Allen and Brown) nor did I see him at WR (even though Hatcher got knocked out), didn't see Adams on the sideline either.

Would've liked to have seen the travel roster (anyone see it ?). Were those two players at the game?

Wilson got benched during the Clemson game and that's been it for him short of some token time because injuries to Bellamy. Last night Quan got the nod (and whiffed a tackle) but it begs the question where is Wilson. Not privy to practice obviously, but to my eyes, when you see the performance of other kids week to week who keep trotting back out there, you can see why he's seemingly losing the team. If you're benching kids for performance you need to be consistent with that or you're going to lose the locker room.

CDRW has taken some heat today for being seen laughing on the sideline but I find this kind of thing somewhat normal given the situation. He's a bench player who's not playing when the team is atrocious. He's backing up a player who's not playing well and he still sits. People have to understand the mind of a kid/athlete; he's out there working just as hard as anyone else, probably makes some plays in practice and his mind he should be out there. Tell me an athlete who doesn't think he should be on the field? Right or wrong I've seen this happen many times before but anyhow, what it really shows is that Dino has lost the team.

Everybody saw it.

Everybody saw it.

Wilson and Adams were both on the travel roster fwiw.

Wilson got ABUSED in the Clemson game and needed 2-3 other guys everytime he needed to make a tackle

It’s really no surprise he got benched

Wilson and Adams both traveled.

I think Wilson was moved to safety and is learning the position. The Field Safety position often plays like a slot corner where J. Simmons often lines up. Wilson is on the small side but plays with energy and toughness. I would expect him to head for the portal as soon as possible.

Others have I haven't seen in weeks and may have already left the program, B. Oliver, . Nolton, and J. Seabourne.

our DB'S were beat easier than bananas in a blender. and the drone ain't even a great qb.

Nolton was a recruiting coup if I remember right

it would seem that whether Dino is let go or not, the Ohana is going to go through a sizable beak up this offseason.

The week before the Clemson game, Dino mentioned LQA and Wilson specifically as the two hardest working players in practice.

It seems like there's something else between having a bad game against Clemson and being the 8th string DB against VT.

Interesting.

I believe he was a Miami commit originally, that we flipped.

But he's always been on the small side for a DE.

Seabourn hasn't played since Army.

Nolton and Oliver haven't played at all this year. Neither has Bassette.
