Never knew of him but according to early reviews he’s a hot up and comer. I’d love a staff with nice blend of young energy and older experienced coaches.
I wonder if he takes the whole line or they break it up again

Possibly this guy. True freshman had 6 TFL and 3 sacks as a DT. Not a ton of guys from that team that pop off the page. We could do better

Yeah absolutely. I was just looking more for depth guys rather than starters.

I hope he can develop guys and not just be an high level recruiter.

Given where he is coming from, I am going to assume he has never had P4 talent to try and mold before. So hopefully he is able to up his game to push this kids to improve. We really did not see a lot of growth in our guys along the DL the last couple years. Hopefully the combination of scheme change, talent infusion and new ideas leads us to seeing some growth there.

Given where he is coming from, I am going to assume he has never had P4 talent to try and mold before. So hopefully he is able to up his game to push this kids to improve. We really did not see a lot of growth in our guys along the DL the last couple years. Hopefully the combination of scheme change, talent infusion and new ideas leads us to seeing some growth there.

That's the thing, I have no idea how good a coach he is. Let's say his DL did not get a lot of sacks and was bad against the run. Someone with access to the film and with actual knowledge of how to evaluate it may say, these guys were fundamentally sound but they lacked talent and were consistently overmatched. I sincerely hope he shows promise as a technician and that is why we are hiring him.
