Tweaked his ankle on a 2nd down run. Thought he was coming out but he stayed in for 1 more play. Didn't play after that.

Was that the play to end the 3rd Q? Because Smith had a 6 yard run to end the 3rd. AAM got the bulk of the carries in the 4th. Didn't need to use Smith in the 4th, especially if he was dinged.
I think we only have him for one more year.I'm excited to have Smith for another two seasons. He's really growing into his own running style.
If I'm reading the SU Athletics website correctly, since he missed more than 2/3rds of the 2010 season due to injury he should be able to use that as a redshirt year, no?I think we only have him for one more year.
I didn't realize he had missed that much time. In that case, I think you're right.
Jerome's had a solid season and is probably going to top 1000 yards. Nice achievement.
I don't meant this to be a knock on Smith, but as well as he's done as a starter, I think our most talented backs are behind him.
I have to admit, wen bnoro said that Jerome Smith would be the next SU 1,000 yard rusher, I vehemently disagreed. I am happy to eat crow.
Kudos to Jerome. Great season. Hope he can get in the end zone a few more times this year.
Not a bad RB considering his next cut will be his first. :bang:You could see at the Rochester scrimmage he was the best.

Not a bad RB considering he has yet to make a cut. :bang:
Sarcasm, Bees. Just quoting one of the board sages comments. I love the guy!He made several nice little cuts. Twice on his TD run.
