Unfortunately, I think you're right about Quincy. I really hated to see him go, I mean really hated it. However, if he wasn't going to accept his role, he needed to go. I also don't blame Q - he wants to play in the NBA and if he doesn't show he has an outside shot, there's no way. I don't know enough about Brissett, but seems like that was sort of the case as well. The departure that gets me a bit hot under the collar was our best pg.

Players are no longer under a coaches thumb and if once they get on campus it's not what they were told during their recruitment they're gonna hit the portal....old school coaches like Boeheim will never survive in todays game...and everybody is trying to get to the NBA so as a coach if your not helping them reach that goal they'll find a coach that will...

What the hell are you talking about? Seriously. I'm no Boeheim apologist, at all, but you're talking about how he won't "survive" today's game is about as stupid of a post as I've read in a while, and that includes some by CuseRunner/Hulk. Sometimes there should be a license that one has to earn to post. My gawd.
