Jim Everett knocked him out of his chair during an interview. I know another radio personality pretty well who worked in San Diego with Rome when he was first starting and he said that Rome has always been an "arrogant ."

I don't listen to Jim Rome anymore but used to at my prior job. His sports stuff isn't impressive but some of his skits would crack me up like Corvette guy, and the "gimme back my son" mel gibson sound bite skit. His schtick gets old pretty quickly but he's still easier to listen to than mike and mike.
