That wasn't the only Syracuse appearance by Hendrix, in 1965 he appeared as a member of a group.

Ironically, another rock icon who also died at the tender age of 27, Janis Joplin, performed 2 nights earlier at the same venue.

Amazing who performed at the War Memorial in 1969 (argueably the greatest year for music anyways). This is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame list.
