He is an excellent coach. Huge east coast chops. Very detailed, no bs coach. Penalties would be cut in half and nobody would be screwing around laughing during a blow out. Old school tough.

It would be nice to see the players focused on something other than flexing and preening after every play.

No to someone from a mid major. Syracuse is at a crossroads and you're gambling on JMU. Not serious at all.

Lance Leipold went from D3 to Buffalo to Kansas and he killed it in all three places. Just because Dino didn’t pan out quite the way we hoped, especially after 2018, doesn’t mean we should limit ourselves to P5 coordinators who are considered great recruiters even though they recruit for Penn State, Michigan and Ohio State.

I think the biggest thing with Dino is that his experience in the G5 never showed program development or recruiting. He was at both schools for 2 years using someone else's recruits. Cignetti has been at JMU for 5 years including promotion from FCS to FBS where he has sustained success.

There really isn't much of a comparison between Dino and Cignetti.
