John Gruden and Greg Olsen Didn't Like Fran Brown's Antics

Jon Gruden is a career .500 coach that lucked into a Super Bowl joining a team with an elite defense and 4 hall of famers. Greg Olson has never done anything of note ever except be a league average TE.

Maybe if they held themselves accountable after poor performances they would have done better.

And have what a combined 50 years of playing and coaching at the highest level. Don't act as if they don't know what they are talking about or as if their opinions aren't based on experience. Not saying I see it as gospel, they were asked to comment and they did. Not a huge deal and from the look on Gruden's face, I think he's a bit conflicted here as well

If the players were embarrassed by anything I think it would be their play on the field. Fran Brown holding this team to a higher standard than grinding out a win against an inferior opponent at home isn’t a problem, people are just soft. The only problem I have is that some of the coaches didn’t run too, they certainly played a part in the dysfunction we saw.

During the players’ interview after the game, someone asked Dan Valari if he ever had to run after a game before. He said no, but he didn’t disagree with it.
I think if he felt embarrassed, it was because the team didn’t uphold the standard not that they were running.

We play major College Football? I thought we didn’t since we’re not in the SEC or the Big 10 lol. For whatever reason, many people like status quo, which for us, will be a program that will be completely left out in 2030s. People like the Cinderella story, but they don’t like when David turns into Goliath. Expect more of this backlash from pundits as we make more moves to show desire to be a Goliath in College Football.

They said you don't do this in major college football and it was performative to make the team run in front of the fans after the game.

Who gives a damn what these analysts think! He told the players during the week that win or lose, if they didn't perform up to the standard he was looking for, they would run sprints after the game. He stuck to his promise. I don't think it was "Performative" in the sense that it was done to show the fans...Look how much we care! He would have made them run...if the stadium was empty...because he warned them before hand...the fans just happened to be there. These guys on TV, are always looking for Content...otherwise, they would have no jobs!!..Move on, Next!
