I met him down on the field after the spring game. He bent down to take a picture with my son and had a very difficult time getting back up. He was very nice to us, but seemed down when I asked him about playing this year. Very friendly young man, I wish him the best.

The best thing would be for him to not worry about playing this year and focus on what it will take to get healthy and rehab his physical capabilities.

His focus should be on that long term.

That game was a perfect example of being out-schemed and then really out-coached. You live and you learn.

That type of blocking is a personal foul in the NFL, 15 yards from the spot, and should be the same in college.

Same thing with my daughters...I told him don't kneel down. He was like "its cool". I can't tell if he was slow getting up because of knee or because he is a massive human being. And a very nice one at that.

This story is a reminder that much more was lost against GT than a lopsided football game. It also reinforces how much I despise Paul Johnson and the OL techniques he preaches.
