Read some of what Wildhack said on Syracuse.com.
Some of it regarding JAB’s departure sounded like revisionist history to me.
JAB was clearly shown the door all be it in a gentle way I’d guess.

This was a good interview. No matter where you fall on the spectrum of who should coach- you can tell JW did talk to quite a few folks for their advice and the feedback makes sense and is real. Now was that shined up a bit to not tip his hand? Yeah but you have to expect that.

The Allen stuff I'll say is tough. Not much JW can say and had to tell a little white lie on the pulling support stuff.

Haven’t watched this but in general Wildhack has been so careful in the past as to be not worth listening to an interview with him. He gives no actual information or insight at all typically.

I thought he handled the question about how Gmac responded to not getting the job well. He said that G is a competitor so of course he wanted the job and was disappointed. I like how he discussed that he was immediately elevated to the second position and how G got behind AA 100% in spite of his disappointment.
Credit to JB for keeping it in house and for JW for making a solid decision.

Mike Waters is an A+ guy. Once of the nicest media people I've ever met and someone who always replies to my emails even if the questions are silly.
