Yeah I knew both were good. You do know Syracuse develops wide receivers well, I think with the incoming talent we will be fine. Reallocated resources.

I know but it’s becoming frustrating developing and not retaining. This kid was an upcoming Senior and wanted to spend that season here. That’s frustrating to me. Hope the staff is right

I really wish we brought Cook back, or even better Gill. We just had 2 would be seniors transfer to a semi-finalist. I know there were issues, but who’s to say there aren’t going to be issues with the new WR’s? It’s a diva position. Shouldn’t be counting on leadership from that position, especially when you don’t have a QB that can throw a forward pass for 8 games.

I don’t know if i would believe you if you said seeing this development doesn’t hurt just a bit.

Who coming in has remotely close the skillset of cook and Gill? We're not overflowing with talent that cfp teams want.

A program like Syracuse is not going to be able to retain all of its good players. It is the new era that is NIL. Just got to hope for a magical run. But I see it as impossible for long-term consistent success

Cook lead the team in drops and fumbles too. And couldn’t line up in the right spot half the time. Ole miss is also in some shambles right now given their transfers out. Their fans already want to can their brand new head coach if you read their message boards.

I hear you on Gill. I’m waiting for judgment until I see the performance in fall. I’ll be curious how both do in the SEC. I’m more optimistic than others and think we will be fine at WR.

to me OL will make or break the season personally. We need our young guys to be ready.

I thought I saw a post from his dad that it was a contract dispute. If he wanted more money then SU thought was appropriate based on other needs you have to make choices. Ol miss will spend a ton of money but in the end if they don’t make the playoffs it means nothing. Time will tell if SU should have paid or our will our current receivers play well and exceed.

I agree with the OL. That always is make or break. I know Cook was a bit of an air head, but he still produced. Basically i would rather have had him than not. As for Ole Miss fans, they’re just angry and ready to take it out on anyone. He did a great job going from DC to HC and getting them into the semi’s. If Chambliss gets his waiver for a 6th year that offense should hum.

Really? Tell me who is our #1 WR? Darien Williams? I have high hopes for him, but he hasn’t proven anything yet. Steve will make everyone better, but i don’t think it’s a stretch to say we took a hit at WR.
