I have always had the feeling that if Johntay had a good/great year this season he was gone anyway. The "uncle" and his comments solidified my hunch. Syracuse is just a stepping stone for this kid and his family and will move on to a bigger pay out if offered next season. Its today's college football. It sucks, it has dampened my fandom but is what it is.

Based on his uncle’s comments, I’d be fine if Fran invited him to go on Monday. He’s not good enough to keep around with that, juice ain’t worth the squeeze.

why would you blame the kid for something a uncle said. Would you want that done to you? Sorry, we have to let you go because some uncle said bad things on a radio show?
