I have always had the feeling that if Johntay had a good/great year this season he was gone anyway. The "uncle" and his comments solidified my hunch. Syracuse is just a stepping stone for this kid and his family and will move on to a bigger pay out if offered next season. Its today's college football. It sucks, it has dampened my fandom but is what it is.

Reminds me of way back when, collecting the $10 parking fee for a big annual tournament run by my kid's club team.
Never had a dad in a Taurus or similar "average" car complain.
It was dads in the high end BMW's and Mercedes who blew their gaskets!

number one don't believe you when you say "never" . you're out and out stereotyping.
and number two i happen to know that parents in matching junior team jackets and sub compacts are the biggest beechers alive. try reffing a junior hockey game sometime. it ain't the car that brings the hate. it's the people inside.

It is, but my gosh is Cook an elite receiver. No matter where he is next season in a Syracuse uniform, another uniform, or the NFL, I would hope that he trusts and consults Fran on his next steps and doesn't burn that relationship in the process. This is actually a great story that would be talked about a lot more if Angeli remained healthy and we are a 5-1, 3-0 football team.
