I knew he was mentally M I A from the start when he was settling for long jump shots instead of taking it to the hoop. Why can he not comprehend the concept of working his game inside - out? He should have gotten to the line 10 times yesterday.

I also feel he has killed any chance he had of getting drafted based on his performances the past few weeks. He has exposed himself to the league in a negative light: at his size he is going to have to hit open shots consistent to have any value in the league -- he doesn't do it; his 'D' efforts are questionable and inconsistent, something you need to be strong at if you are questionable and inconsistent with jump shooting.

Hopefully something clicks (I think he will have a great game against KSU) and he carries the team to the FF - I just do not see it as of today.

KJo and Dion have a chance to kill their draft stock or really, really build it. Game one, wah wah wahhhhh. Lets see what they do Game two.

KJo airballing the wide open 3, What!?

yeah, and it wasn't even close

well here is my question about those long jumpers.(several of which airballed).
boeheim has a whole seasons' worth of stats and personal eye witness accounts that tell him we are not a good three point shooting team (about33%). he also has in front of him a roster and several hours of tape that shows him asheville is a small team. why are we even taking those treys in the first place. did he actually gameplan this thing or just roll the ball out to midcourt again?

The one thing I will say about Joseph is that despite his awful play lately, he always makes a play late in the game; he did it today, he did it vs. UConn in the BET; him and Scoop certainly did not play well but I think they will be better tomorrow.

It's interesting that people pick on his offensive game. His offensive game yesterday was light years ahead of his defensive/rebounding effort.

that is not saying much when you start off a game shooting 1-10 with a few airballs

This is what bothers me the most about KJ. As a senior (and the team's leading scorer) I don't have a problem w/ him jacking up 3's as much as most on here do. I agree that he should work his game inside-out but he's earned the right to take a few tough 3's in someone's face.

What I can't stand is his poor timing on defense - when he leaves a jump shooter open on the baseline of the zone to help out a guard (usually Scoop). Or his needless gambles on trapping an opposing guard on the sideline - when the opposing guard is looking directly at him and can see it coming.

I don't have as much a problem w/ his O as I do his D. I've noticed that he's done a great job improving his decision making when he drives - I haven't seen him called for a charge in quite some time. (And I apologize for jinxing that by mentioning it)
