Ya, he's had multiple bits of SU gear on his desk during the show over the past year or 2. Including that helmet he must of got real soon after they came out.

I'm ashamed to say I watch MDLLA with my wife. And although i like that he's an SU guy, specifically a football guy, and he does have visible SU memorbilia in his office (this season he has the orange to blue faded hemlmet from last season on his desk) he comes off as an incredible douche. Now i am going to give him the benefit of the doubt and blame it on the awful scripted acting of his scenes in the show, but still its not a good look.

My wife watches that show, and in few clips I've seen he comes across as having one of the most aversive personalities I've seen on TV.

He's like hundreds of guys that were at Syracuse in the late 90s. I'd venture a guess he ran with Jason Cippola, was in DU and hung at Harry's too. This is central casting SU and unfortunately a good example of that era.

I've met him ... He is very confident (cocky?) but that is from the incredible successes he has achieved through hard work. A lot of the persona is a creation of and for the show.

He bleeds Orange and should be someone that the AD contacts for donations and help in arranging west coast alumni fundraisers. He would be great at opening some wallets up in favor of the school if they were to utilize him in that way.

I don't care what the guy's personality is...bleed him dry. I have seen the show sadly because of my wife...and have seen the SU gear he has on his desk. He is a total dbag though without question.
