That restaurant has been called, by the LA Times, "such an institution, that people don't even question the strange combination.". A favorite of Hollywood celebrities, including Natalie Cole, Red Foxx, etc... You can bet your sweet A$$ I'd want him to take me there...;-)

** Side note. Dish has been around since the 1600's. Thomas Jefferson came home from France with a waffle iron, and the dish became more popular... A staple of Pennsylvania Dutch households in the 1800's. Gained real popularity in the 60's, when after hours, guys like bb king, muddy waters would frequent the places after shows in NYC...
