Just got my Renewal

btw, you say $10k over 5 years isn't that bad (it is bad for most people) but if i am not mistaken, that is for 1 seat. most people buy more than 1 seat. so if you want 4, it's $40k (for 1st level A)

I believe that...

-C and D do not cost any extra besides the preferred donation
-the $10k over 5 years is for A lower level not upper level
-B lower is $5k over 5 years
-it is not per seat but per account for those $10k and $5k

In addition there are a ton of people with A for BBall. The increase in donation to get A for FB is small. I wonder how many people who have A for BBall have non A for FB? And if they know the increase in donation money is relatively small and well worth the money?

2 Cheap Seats=$198.00 plus $7 order fee.
No thanks.

You have got to be kidding me. You are bitching about $20 a game to see BCS football.

The Syracuse Crunch have the cheapest tickets in the AHL and they charge $18 a game. My season two tickets to the Crunch cost $1260 and your are complaining about $198. LOL

I hope you enjoy the SU football games from your living room.

I pay $18 per game for Cornell hockey tickets. I just had to pay $10 for yesterday's lax game v Canisius & that's without Rob Pannell. I want my Pannell discount for all future games.

my experience as well!
Well... I tried another browser and voila... it works.
I'm not sure if things were cached from previous attempts or if SU's website is not friendly to all browsers.

I normally use Chrome. When I go to the renewals page I still get the message that invoices are not ready yet. I just tried with Firefox and I'm presented with the opportunity to renew.

You may want to try another browser and see if you have similar results.

firefox didnt work for me either, why is renewing so difficult?, you think SU would go out of their way to make renewing easy!!

Just renewed my season tickets. They are offering a payment plan with 1/4 of the balance due every month from April to July.

Changing browsers worked for me. Thanks for the tip!

c and d aren't cheap either for a lot of people. you keep talking like everything is cheap when in reality a lot of people cant afford 10k or 5k over 5 years yet you and others mock them like everything is a $99 seat. you go to some games, so you have seen all the empty seats between the 20's. now figure out how to fix that instead of harping on "we have such CHEAP seats at $99, stop your crying". the people that are or aren't wanting to buy the cheap seats are NOT the problem. follow this now, just 1 more A level donor for just 1 seat is equal to 22 people buying the cheap seats.

How do we know people can't afford them, because they're not buying them? I don't think you can really test that out until we become good again. I have no clue how the basketball seating/pricing works, but I do know that of the seats that would be considered "good" for Dome hoops (not a small #), not a single one of them is empty, pretty much ever. And we probably have the worst venue in the country when it comes to what kind of view you get from most seats.

If SU football claws their way back to the 90's level, and does so in the ACC, I think at that point we'll have a better idea of what people can afford, versus what people are willing to pay. Big difference.

From SU's perspective, they have to find 49,000 people per game who are willing to pay, I'm sure they know there's a segment of people who really like the team but can't pay for premium seats. But SU also can't really price based on how they think the team will perform, that would get ugly quickly.

I don't think you are correct on the $10K/ per seat, I think its per season ticket holder but would have to double check. I agree people need to buy preferred A or B if they want good seats for a BCS football team, if not there are cheaper alternatives and they should stop whining. If you can't afford it, then don't buy at all but most BCS teams have a premium on good seats, yet we whine here as if everyone should be able to sit on the 50 for a fin and a PBR.

I wanted a Toyota 4 runner when I was in college but I drove a 87 VW Jetta with broken doors, windows and no stereo, but I was still driving. why because that is what I could afford. Syracuse has bloated cost on their preferred seating, but they certainly have other affordable options. If the program ever won games, which is their biggest problem IMO, you may see people buying the better seats. Sure, they should probably be a bit cheaper but not much.

Do you remember what we paid last year for preferred seasons?

Definately $215. Re-upped yesterday. Section 301.

But, I might have to rake a shitload of leaves this fall though... :noidea:

My A FB seats cost me $608 each
My A BBall seats cost me $826.75 each

So the FB seats are actually cheaper. IMO it isn't the price of FB but the desire to actually go to the FB games.

So I guess the real question is, what do you do for a living moneybags? And can I have a job?

$205 for two season tickets to a major college football venue.

And you think that's a bad deal?

Sorry, I don't mean this personally, but what planet are you from?

The price you qouted is a great buy for major college football.
