By saying it was also approximately 30 years ago that the SU football team went undefeated and was in relative contention for the national championship. They were coached by Dick MacPherson, who soon after left to coach in the 'NFL' for the New England Patriots.
No chance. Much too slow and no outside shot.

What had great guards. Just that their bodies and skills didn't/wouldn't translate.
I may be mistaken but I swear I heard the non-Golic Mike refer to Gerry Macnamara and "Keith" Duany.

That team as a whole was much better than people thought, Gmac and Duany were a really good pair of guards. Edelin like a another poster said could have been in the nba if things had worked out differently. Hak was a really good 4, and Pace was a really good role player coming off the bench.
