He wasn't on the roster. Fran said something along the lines of not being able to evaluate him in the spring because he was hurt, and didn't keep a spot on the team for him.

Syracuse football coach Fran Brown said junior linebacker Kadin Bailey is no longer on the team because of an injury sustained last season.

“I would say he has an injury that will not allow him to truly play,” Brown told syracuse.com. “He won’t come back. He won’t be cleared, so we’re trying to do what’s best for him so he won’t waste a year.”

I know who he is ;-) but our first transfer is someone who was medically DQd here and not even on the team.

Well if he wasn’t going to be cleared I wonder if we DQ’ed him. Sounds like it from that comment.
