I wouldn’t rule it out he was rumored to be going to Clemson as an assistant which would explain his ability to be the Redwoods GM. Pierreca is supposed to take over when he steps down

Not every single hire needs/should be a 'Cuse alum! It should be the BEST one available with a proven track record. My top picks from the ones listed so far: 1) Spallina (no brainer), 2) Katrina Dowd, 3) Tumolo. Would Sam Apuzzo ever leave BC???? She would be another great coach I would at least reach out to.

No inside info here but looking from the outside, John did not really have the option of leaving Kayla in place. It is a shame it worked out like it did and I hope she does well in the dairy pastures of State College

Glad hope has been restored and we can dream of returning to the Final Four and national dominance again soon.

Why? Because of the situation last year? What changed in a year that made the situation worse? I agree but seems like there was a year window for her to find something.

I also wonder if lax basically being left out of the money is influencing some of this.

I'd have to disagree with this statement hard. There is no money in WPLL. Being given the chance to be a HC at top lacrosse program is certainly way more appealing than continuing a playing career in the WPLL.
