Kentucky will see 4 teams better than Georgia's effort tonight in the tourney. I can't believe the crowning I'm seeing and reading so much. Kentucky is probably barely a flip of the coin to win it all. Remember march is nutzo

UVA and Duke have a chance to beat UK. UVA would be a TERRIBLE matchup for Cal's bunch. Trust me, the Selection Committee is going to ensure that UK will potentially have to go through Duke AND UVA to win it all. Personally, I'd like to see UVA cut em down this year. It's really hard to dislike that team. UK will not win it all this year. They are ripe for a slip up with the wrong match-up. It's just a gut feeling.

Agreed. UK are what they are right now. This team does NOT have Anthony Davis either, so people handing the title to them are being a bit premature. They are as vulnerable as the Wall-Cousins team.

I'm tired of Cal and his antics. I want UK to lose all of their remaining games. I just don't like them. And I'm tired of the refs giving them everything. How does a guy fall to the floor toward the end last night and no call? He absolutely faked getting hit in the chops and then just fell to the floor and was allowed to call a TO? That's ridiculous, just as teaching guys to fake getting hit in the mouth is ridiculous. I thought for sure they would call the Flagrant 1 despite absolutely no contact. And Towns is a big boy, but he lowers his shoulder and initiates more contact than Okafor.

I'd throw Wisconsin into the mix as well. Revenge factor from last year, can control the tempo, Kaminsky will drag the bigs away from the basket, and they have a great defensive rebounding rate. UK gets a bunch of points from offensive rebounds so that would be a big factor.

But I do have to step back and admit that 30-0 is pretty damn impressive. Even factoring in the weak SEC. For comparison's sake, I think if SU were in the ACC, we'd have easily won 5-7 more games.

SEC has a lot of ok teams, they have 8 teams ranked between about 25 and 60. But for an elite team like UK, that's generally not an issue. Obviously the league doesn't have anywhere near the top level teams like the ACC.

I think UK vs Duke and/or UVA will be great games. Duke has a very good inside out game that can compete well vs Kentucky and UVA is just so sound fundamentally that anyone is going to have a hard time beating them. This is almost one year I hope it goes chalk.

I don't believe that Fsu had all of those close calls this year, because they were going through the motions, I believe that they are were a flawed team this year, and it came back to bite them. Doe the most talented team always win it? Of course not, but lets be honest, Kentucky is in sleep mode right now.

My pov is as much based on the lack of quality competition as it is based on UK. College hoops is as down as I've ever seen it. But no team in the country has the depth or big men that UK has. UK's big men will annihilate most of the front lines in this country. On any given night any team can be beaten. We all know that. But the odds heavily favor UK.
