Calipari has really always been about getting guys to the NBA and being an agent in Coach's clothing. You bring in enough talent, play tough mtm with always having a shot blocker and run a simplistic NBA style offense and you can win a lot of games. He really has never deviated from that model figuring it would never fail him. He has gotten lazy over the years and it's clear he doesn't even care about titles. He wants to get to draft night and hang out in the green room. He counts the number of guys who were his recruits in the league now and their successes as what matters. UK fans I think have finally come around to realizing he cares not about the winning just expects it.
