Kentucky is good, BUT

I honestly don't think Kentucky has anybody on their team that will be legitimate stars in the NBA. Davis will likely be their best player, and he could make an all-star game or 2, but I don't think he'll ever be an All-NBA kinda guy.

didn't we win a national championship with a pretty young team, minus kueth
That year was an aberration if you look at it.

Derrick Rose, Tyreke Evans, Kevin Durant, Kevin Love, Russell Westbrook, John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins, Greg Oden, Michael Beasley, Kyrie Irving and Blake Griffin all left college without a championship.

Davis has to gain weight. I would also love to see how his blocking ability is effected when he does gain 20 or 30 lbs.

People keep saying this, and while it would be advantageous for him to bulk up a bit, I think he can still be successful with the frame he has.

I haven't heard this comparison much, maybe I'm just not paying attention, but Davis strikes me as a clone of Marcus Camby. Camby has been in the NBA for 15 years and is still only 235 lbs. on a 6'11" frame. He's probably put 15-20 of those lbs. on on the backstretch of his career.

Despite the slight frame Camby could always rebound and block shots. Davis too is an exceptional shot blocker and very good rebounder. He is more advanced than Camby was as a frosh, but he has that same body.... 6'10" 22o lbs. long lanky guy.
