KingJoseph Edwards Appreciation Thread

He had a very good debut.

Let's keep in mind the level of competition.

But I liked what I saw, and hope to see him get worked in more. WE NEED PASS RUSH. Maybe he could give us a booked on the opposite side from Diggs.
True regarding level of competition but Watson had our only other sack, so like you said, we need pass rush, keep working him in there, we will need him

In his press conference, Fran said there were some freshman issues he needed to work on. Paraphrasing: He said that if you play freshman who are doing things the wrong way, they never learn to do them the right way. Sounds like he will play more moving forward.

He doesn’t fit in the 3 man DLine. He’s too skinny, he’d get creamed in the running game. So I think, 3rd down pass rush specialist except we only rush 3. So they better figure it out.

He’s quick, he has a knack for it and his one play of being disciplined was excellent.

I don’t think that is what he means. He got a call last night from a player about not blowing his redshirt. He told the kid you can help the team now. He mentioned this in the pregame radio interview.

I'm pretty sure I am interpreting it correctly and he was talking about a different player in the pregame.

I reckon not many debuts in football started with 3 sacks -- in 1 quarter. Looking forward to him being in the rotation. He and Watson will be a really good foundation for this team in the future.

Freshman playing issues, or Freshman going to class issues?
