Knuckle ball defies airodynamics

The unpridictible movement is scary especially when a knuckle ball off the bat is heading for your head. As a much younger person I experienced that ball coming at me and doing things in mid air that was petrifying in that usually at worse a batted ball might have an overt spin that creates some kind of movement but that can usually be followed and easily caught. The knuckle ball came at me and at the last moment started "knuckling ,All I could do was duck my head to get out of its way. It gathered some laughs but the handsome face was spared the insult of a nose that was pushed to the other side of my head in a bloody meeting in the outfield and a trip to a Syracuse ER.:bat:
