Kudos to Strickland

Its simple. We were able to run because they played man. O line blocked well enough to allow the backs to slip through. picked up a lot of yards once we got through the second level. When you are in man coverage your back is turned away from the ball and then you have to leave your man to make a tackle. We haven't been able to take advantage of this in the past. This is a sign that we are improving on the line and at RB. Offense is getting more and more dangerous because we are becoming less predictable with a more balanced run/pass ratio.

No, but it was the first year in a new system. A system that puts a lot of pressure on the RB, and a subpar o-line.

I think Strickland has gotten a bad rap. He has shown if he gets any kind if hole he will hit it hard and fight for every inch.

The o line us not the same line that began the season. They are now blooded troops with experience against some terrific front sevens. Their improved play has given Strickland the bit of room he needed.

Strick earned a bad rap through the first four/five games of the year. He was allergic to cut back and had vision like Helen Keller.

What he’s done over the past three games has been really good. Astonishing improvement/upgrade. Amazed and wondering how.
