Hmmm. School hasn’t heard back. So were our “insiders” selling us fake hope? Or is SU not telling the truth

From his stock rising, to mostly every other QB stock falling around him with ironically maybe the exception of Will Howard (will see more tonight), Carson Beck opting out of the draft, and Allar not taking full advantage last night when the narrative was that if he could play well his stock could rise significantly. The headwinds were there to where things outside his control basically made this decision that opportunity he is looking for in the NFL can be reality. I didn’t watch Ohio State religiously last year, but enough that when he announced he was going into the transfer portal I thought it was crazy they would let him leave so easily after nearly leading the team to knocking off a generational Michigan team in the Big House, this was before I ever even imagined that he could be our QB. Relieved that the answer is known and as it pertains to the NFL, I have teams I’m a casual fan of, but if by chance a franchise declares McCord to be there starter, I may start becoming a fan and follow that team. As for us, this is a big moment. Wins next season appear to be tough, but we learned pretty quickly in 2019 that 2018 success was mostly due to Dungey magic more than anything else. What we all probably expect is we’re not going to have the passing game we had this year, but the question is that will we be improved in all the other aspects of the game that can will us to close games against the best competition and maybe even wins! Is our program and culture there yet, we’re going to find out!
I can imagine his mindset of going to classes and doing homework for classes instead of developing and watching film was probably many of us equivalents of being stuck in too many meetings at work instead of having time to do the work.I don’t think he liked going to college. Understand where he is at. Will always be grateful for what he brought to the program during the short time he was here.
Thanks Kyle and good luck in the NFL!
The best part of this whole thing is no mention of OsU. This is all cuse and he will rep cuse everywhere from here on it. Congrats Kyle. Every kids dream to play in the league and he will do that soon. Excited to see what JW and RC do but I’m beyond high on JW

Giants would be the spot, couldn't possibly be worse than what we got . (Rock Bottom)Yes, if the pros are telling him he will be drafted in the first two rounds, probably even the third round. If the pros are telling him the fourth round or beyond, he should come back and climb the draft ladder.
Obviously, he should go to the Giants, said one "unbiased Orange fan".
Waiting a few days doesn't change a thing.Even if we already know that reality deep down, maybe it’s better to save this sentiment for… idk… a few days after we’ve had a chance to digest this kick to the groin.
For the record I am just as concerned.

Am I doing this right?
Seriously though, congrats to you Kyle! Thanks for everything you did for SU. Go kill it in The League!
Forever Orange!!
It's a crashed Dodge Dart. What is the car crash all about?
Carney is a non factor
He enrolled early and committed knowing he was going to redshirt his first year.
Don't even want to be an "insider". I like passing on what I hear for the discussion. We're all SU fans here. But when it's something people don't like it gets questioned and that's when it gets annoying.
Not sure about this. They may have been committing to pay Kyle, not the general NIL fund.Maybe Kyle did Fran and us fans one last favor earlier this week. Too many people were positive the waiver was approved and then the nil wheels were turning for it to be all fake.
Im thinking that maybe Kyle saying if I come back that NIL money better be ready with the money was no matter what going to be a win for Fran. From what everyone said here the NIL was ready and it was competitive.
I hope Fran can tap that same money that would’ve been spent on Kyle to go get another portal QB or other impact players that he thinks he needs.
Sure its a little of bit of a bait and switch for the big donors but whatever. If by Kyle saying he was weighing his options and that got people to give an extra million or 2 in NIL to the program that still is a win For us peasants on this board.
No need for it anyway. He can use NIL to Uber and In about 3 months hire a driver. It's a crashed Dodge Dart.
You cut off the paragraph thanking Ryan Day.
