lame duck year 2012

well this isnt good news for marrone-

he has a 5 year deal -next year being number 4 makes him a lame duck -if he cant recruit when he has a long term deal he sure wont when he is in his final year

he has shown nothing that would give tgd a reason to extend his contract-he cant recruit or win after sept-

his teams look more and more like the great guru's teams as the seasons wear on-

If we end up playing in the ACC next year Doug will get a 1 or 2 year extension this offseason as a show of faith. Nothing beyond that, no huge deal but a little something. Just for the fact you mentioned that with a conference switch and to not kill recruiting in that unstable time you can't have him be a lame duck.
