Lax Pick ‘Em: Week 2

Do I assume correctly that we have the option of picking one or more weekday games as part of our 4 for the week?

Yes you can pick as many or as few midweek games as you want toward the overall 4.

These are the final lines for tomorrow. I will work with LFS to see if we wanna do the morning of moving forward for midweek games but I assume there won't be to much movement if we do the night before.
just my 2 cents, but sportsbooks give the different rolling lines to different bettors all week.

as you have a group of bettors all needing to go off the same lines, there's no right or wrong time. just lock in whenever it's most convenient and less time consuming.

End of 1st Qtr: Towson 2, Hopkins 2

Brutal broadcast, the announcers clearly are calling it remotely but the audio is literally picking up the field/stadium announcer and they are talking over each other. You can hear them trying to talk about the game while the Towson PA guy is doing a commercial. Brutally bad.

Also the picture itself is more jumpy and going in and out of focus more then the blair witch project.

But . . . It's free. I'm on my 2nd device. I started on the Freebie app on my Roku player. They interspersed commercials. I switched to the Internet App on my Smart TV. That’s playing ok. Picture isn't always clear but better on my big TV. Now during the half It's buffering. May switch to my laptop.

Interesting 1st half. Staudt playing really well for Hop, their LSM's have shut down Weisshaer and hop shooters cashing in really good looks especially Chauvette. On the other hand Towson has gotten a bunch of good looks against the Hop D but either hasn't finished or Staudt has made a great save. Hopkins with good ball movement but they're struggling to win 1 on 1 matchups dodging in settled situations.

Towson's frosh FOGO came in and won 4 out of 5, suspect we will see a lot of him next week.
Hopkins has only gone with Callahan who is at 50%
Hopkins with 10 turnovers in the 1st half, multiple bad passes. Melendez held scoreless in the 1st half.

Towson having a ton of trouble with clearing and the Hop ride. Pretty sure Hop isn't jumping into a 10 man either. Hopkins O in the 6 on 6 though is gonna have issues against good defensive teams and teams who don't give up fastbreak/secondary break goals.

Turnovers brutal for both teams.

Really bad, Towson blew a number of clears in a row and now both teams are just turning it over pretty much every possession or close to it. Hop ride has been impressive, Towson having a ton of issues.

Hopkins letting Towson hang around.

Towson settled defense looks good, quick to recover and hasn't really let Hopkins run by them.

Hopkins letting Towson hang around.

Ton of turnovers on both sides. I would assume the quick turnaround for Hop and fist game for Towson playing a large role. Still very sloppy by both teams. Hard to get a great feel for next weeks game with Towson off this game. Towson definitely a good squad but how much is unclear.

Weisshaer is impressive, gonna really need a game plan on him next week. Not sure Caccamo is a realistic answer.

Towson playing a ton of zone which Hop has struggled with turnovers against but they have also had some real nice ball movement against it. Not sure most teams are gonna play zone against Hop, ball movement and outside shooting are their strengths.

Towsons goalie has made a couple of big saves as well. Has been up and down but just had a real nice stop and good move by Collison.

Now my feed is starting to stutter and buffer, must be everyone flipping the game on to catch the ending.

Wonder if trying to run out the clock on Hopkins last possession is gonna bite them.

They will be tough with a short turnaround. They had tape on Hop and Hop looked jet lagged IMO.
Maybe in the 2nd half. In the 2nd qtr it looked like a team playing its 2nd game (though jetlagged) vs a team playing its first. A Hopkins friend told me after the game that he thinks the Hop coaches don't know how to hold a lead. They lost to Denver last year by blowing a big lead late, like they almost did tonight.

Considering the road trip to Denver this past weekend, the several new faces, and playing another game on the road (granted not too far down the road), I would be happy with a win by any amount if I was a hop fan.
