Sunday:

Johns Hopkins +1.5 at Syracuse -1.5 2PM [ESPNU]

I'll fill in the missing game when the line is available.

Another solid week of potential picks but some landmines in there as well.

Princeton - 6.5 - This could backfire because Rutty may go 80%+ at the X but I have no idea how Rutgers is going to score or slow down Princeton's offense. I do worry Princeton maybe sluggish after last week so I may change this.

Albany - 2.5 - I may regret this but Hobart getting blasted by ROMO last week is a major red flag. Albany hasn't looked great but boy if they can't cover this, yikes.

Lemoyne -1.5 - Mercer is god awful

Hopkins +1.5 - This screams 1 goal game either way and it's hard to have any confidence in this current SU team winning this game by multiple goals.

I looked at the Princeton/Rutgers game too, the spread kept me away. I think Princeton wins comfortably. Rutgers is strong in goal with Stoller and appear to be better at faceoffs but they have problems scoring against legit defenses. Hobart is bad this year, apart from faceoffs they are a hot mess. The loss to Bobby Mo was really bad. I'm not touching the Hopkins game lol.

I hear ya on that line, I could see Princeton winning like 15-9 after RU scores a few garbage goals late. I may pull that one as I also like Gate this week and I have my eye on another but just gotta see if I got the cajones to pull the trigger as its two bad teams and I already have Lemoyne vs Mercer on there.

I was also looking at Bobby Mo over Bellarmine with Bobby Mo getting 1.5, but it's not clear which team is really better

Those games can be confounding as sometimes on paper it looks clear and then the game plays out and it's the exact opposite. See Hobart vs Romo last week, seemed like a game Bart should cover they lost by 10. When its two bad teams you can get all sorts of wacky results, it's giving me 2nd thoughts on Lemoyne, lol.

think i hate every game on the board this week, only taking games because our contest is forcing me to. will absolutely take 2 - 2 by sunday.

detroit - 12.5
vmi - 2
dartmouth + 1.5
umass - 1.5

detroit will be salivating at the chance to finally score, vmi covers in the 4th, utah has to travel the country again, and umass has a goalie/d and seems a smidge better than last year if their fogo can keep up vs vt.
those are the narratives, anyway.

Can we pin the official lines post to the thread so we are all pulling the same info and save time scrolling?

I can't. Presumably only a moderator can. What I attempted to do was put it all the games in one place to make it easier. Obviously I failed because the line for the 2nd late game out after I lost the opportunity to edit my original post and I had made an error which I also could not correct in the original post. I apologize for any confusion and added time scrolling.

No worries your doing what you can, we appreciate everyone's help. We will keep trial and erroring this thing until we get it right. At this point I think we will just try and do one post form either you or schutt once there all together and if we need to re-post to add teams or edit we just do it. A little more scrolling but I think everyone here can handle it.

I went back and forth on that VMI game but Monmouth has looked better recently. VMI will probably end up covering easily but I decided to stay away.

like i said, for me the lines were nothing but perplexing. really wanted to take cornell, and even loyola, bu or cuse, but also couldn't bring myself there. the books have me figured out this week.

and now, detroit scored 4 goals in the opening 5 min, and have been outscored since. i blame FloridaCuse.
