ZERO excuses next weekend. If Cuse loses to Colgate next weekend Wildhack should have Chemotti on the phone that night

Problem with Gate is the 10 man. They run it extremely well and it can cause fits, it did to SU last year though luckily the offense still played great. Colgate O is pretty good and they like to play uptempo with a number of weapons. All that said they have 2 main Achilles heals. They like SU can get extremely sloppy at times and they can really struggle at times with turnovers.

The main problem though as you noted is their defense. Runs very hot and cold. At times it can look very good in conjunction with the 10 man, they play almost a zone/man hybrid that's unique in D1. Other times though they look awful like today and can't stop anything. Best comp is Harvard with a not as good offense.

Gate also was a mess at the X last year. They're putting up better numbers this season but Mullen should be at 60%+

Syracuse better be ready n focused when colgate comes. Since colgate lost to bucknell think that makes them even more dangerous as their gonna want to get back to win column. Also prob be out for blood to play like it’s super bowl in the dome. Believe colgate also still has to play navy n army which means depending on what they do in those games can drop even more. Cuse can not lose that game nor can they over look gate (as they did just lose to bucknell) or afford to come in half ass n lazy. Gotta start hott n finish hott. Tought stretch for cuse after manhattan game.
