Looks like Anthony Ghobrial was out for UVA vs Utah (they were sub .500 vs the Utes). Obviously very curious if he’s out for SU. He battled a bunch of injuries last year I believe.
Beat me by a second lolMatt Palumb just blew another Penn St call in their game tonight vs. OSU by not overturning a no-goal on a shot that was clearly a goal after viewing replay.

I agree. Unfortunately he also blew the call against PSU in the Duke national semi-final game. But then again, Tambroni was the Cornell coach in the '09 Championship game against us.Palumb is, in my opinion, the best ref in lacrosse. I refuse to believe that he viewed the replay footage shown in that tweet & called it no goal. That replay angle couldn’t have been available to them. If it was……yikes. That’s not even judgement, it’s just plain eyesight.
refs often don't get the same angles and replays and that would seem evident tonight that they didn't.I agree. Unfortunately he also blew the call against PSU in the Duke national semi-final game. But then again, Tambroni was the Cornell coach in the '09 Championship game against us.
I think Matty is at the viewing table. I believe he is #44 on the far (left) side. It's possible that it happened so fast live he didn't see in real time that the ball bounced down inside the goal. If the large screen in the stadium shows a different angle than what they got on the iPad I wonder if the refs are allowed to look at it. If not, this replay review might change that rule. In the NFL, MLB, NHL, and even ACC football, the "situation room" would be assisting the refs to get the right call. I think some coaches, e.g., Kevin Corrigan, would have been more vocal or berserk with the officials after they blew the review.Matty wasn’t at the viewing table as i was watching n he wasn’t one of refs who walked over. But he was on the side of camera angle which felt he would have seen ball bounce down before out. The Psu semi game is tough as he was screened n wasn’t any review then. But felt when show this on big screen at psu could clearly see it was a goal n even if matty wasn’t at table felt could of been like hey did you guys not have this angle cause that’s a goal.
