The lines we used last year only included games with top 20 teams in them. Perhaps we should limit ourselves to just game involving top 20 teams.

Ah my fault. I can understand some people lacking faith in cuse early. A 4-10 record is a 4-10 record. I think we see some significant improvements but we are starting from a low spot. UVM was not too impressive last year and also loses a ton, but they did find a way into the tourney. Think we will cover on saturday but the line is fair enough.

I was merely pointing that Draftkings list seemed more complete.
Picking UMd to win by 8 or more is a little more than I am willing to do.
Maryland has had some grand results in season openers, but still with UMd having many new faces on the offense and Richmond being a solid team -7.5 seems a little high.

I think this betting line probably has more to do with UMd having just won the title and having a large fan base, and thus the people setting the line feeling there are a lot of overzealous Terp fans around.

prolacrossetalk, or betonlax, seems to be an aggregator of actual sportsbooks. "lax vegas lines" seems to be a guy with a twitter handle that may have been making it up as he went along. ergo, i liked "las vegas lines" better. ha.
