He became a starter this year as a redshirt freshman and was playing well on a solid St Francis team before he got hurt. He's earned at least a spot here. Hopefully he keeps developing well.

In a few interviews over the summer, he's talked about how Fran Jr. is a great student and he wanted him focusing on that over football. I believe he's an engineering student, too. The education piece is important to him and I suspect that's really the driver here. We always had a good engineering program so assuming that's still the case.
