This kid is really aggressive at the point of attack and is really tough to block on the outside. Displays excellent tendencies as a run defender with very good lateral speed and range and is a solid wrap tackler. His coverage skills need some refinement as he's not quite fluid when transitioning and takes alot of false steps when setting up on a break. He's definitely got the frame and athleticism to build on though. Would be an excellent get.

He is from West Bloomfield in MI. Same HS as Trishton Jackson, who was recruited to MSU by Terry Samuel. MSU offered Lance. Very possible Terry recruited him. He was the defensive player of the year in Michigan his senior year. His PSU bio says he is 6’2, 220 pounds.
