Lee Corso hangs them up

I didn't see if they posted it, but I assume his last headgear will be the same as his first. Texas at Ohio State that weekend.

Great memories over the years. When they tell the story of how college football became so nationally popular over the years, he's a big part of it.

Yeah really don't want to miss his last gameday
What a legend

Kirk Herbstreit is continuing to swing Orange in his decor.
Could've been influenced by his older sons' college choice, but that's over.

McAfee gets way too much espn related air time already
Funny enough, I was enjoying an alternate to regular ESPN slop for a few months with his crew, Their podcast was pretty good too.

Then he went to ESPN and I was like "oh, maybe that'll bring me back..."

Between the WWE infusion, every special event at ESPN, Gameday, his daily show. I checked out of ESPN as soon as the CFB season was over. I heard he was at the MLB ASG. The boomers must have loved that lol.

I wonder if they will have someone continue the headgear tradition. Not sure it would work, Corso made that.
As for McAfee, I watched his show a few times. I get why it is popular, especially with the younger generations. I'm not a Boomer (Gen X) but I can only take him in small (very small) quantities. His schtick is obnoxious to me. Stand up on the chair/table, be loud, get the crowd to chant something. Wash, rinse, repeat.

I'm Gen X also and agree with your thoughts about Pat. As far as Lee, personally I wouldn't continue the headgear with anyone else. I think that should be left as part of Lee's legacy.

Only person who could do the headgear would be Kirk but I don't think he will and it will be retired.
Also GenX, loved Pat as a player, his show is super meh, and I do really like him on gameday. I get his stick is basically the same thing but he is funny and his relationship with Saban is great.
