I'm not sure if I prefer SEC being shut out of the Championship game or Urban Meyer getting knocked out while the ACC gains greate respect for beating an SEC in the Championship game

There's a point of view that no team will be considered a legit champions unless they beat an SEC team, after 7 straight titles from that conference.

Michigan State is my second favorite college team. Biggie Munn took his entire staff from Syracuse to East Lansing in 1947 and created a national power. Duffy Daugherty, Syracuse alum, (and Jean Daugherty's brother), kept them near the top for years afterwards. George Perles was a great friend of Coach mac's. And their struggles with Michigan and Ohio State over the eyars seemed to mirror ours with Penn State.

In other words, Go Spartans!

Mrs CC went D-III to play field hockey. The rest of her family went to MSU. Save for her brother, who picked up a graduate degree in Columbus.

We're all Spartans tonight.

I'd rather watch FSU dismantle Auburn than listen to SEC folks complain that the 'Noles dodged an SEC opponent on their way to a title. Either way, let's go Florida State and let's go ACC!

Yeah, it was one of those, whoever loses, I win scenarios. SEC out of the championship game would have been great. But Ohio State losing is great too.

If only Stanford didn't blow it against USC and/or Utah. They had one of the more impressive wins of last night, and it went completely under the radar.
